ABOUT IES
The International Educators Summit (IES) is a groundbreaking initiative launched to stand as a beacon for transformative change in education, offering a unique platform where educators, policymakers, thought leaders, and innovators can converge to reimagine the future of teaching, learning and leadership.
As an organisation committed to “advancing excellence in learning, teaching, and leading” in Ghana, Ghana Leadership and Learning Alliance produced the inaugural IES in 2024 with the purpose of “Reimagining Education for the Future We Seek: Africa and the World in Dialogue.” In 2025 under the theme "Innovation for Impact: Leading & Learning Together for Sustainable Educational Transformation." we learnt innovate ways to advance education.
Building on the success of the past years, we return in 2027 with a hybrid summit under the theme 'Educating at the Edge of Change' from the 15th to 17th of July at the ICS, Accra Campus.
IES 2027 Call for Proposals Is Open
The journey to IES 2027 has begun!
Under the theme “Educating at the Edge of Change,” we invite educators, school leaders, practitioners, researchers and innovators to submit session proposals that equip the education community for what’s next.
Proposals are welcome across six tracks: Inclusion, Learning Design, EdTech & AI, Community-Connected Leadership, Student Voice, and Community Partnership.
